Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1)Age >=65 years. (2)American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification of I to III. (3)Scheduled for surgical treatment due to hip fracture (including conventional procedures such as hip arthroplasty or proximal femoral intramedullary nailing). (4)Able to cooperate with dynamic electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoringupon hospital admission, with a Phase-Rectified Signal Averaging (PRSA) signal quality >=90%. (5)Voluntary participation and provision of signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1)Presence of persistent atrial fibrillation, frequent ventricular premature beats, and post-pacemaker implantation. (2)Diagnosis of diabetic autonomic neuropathy. (3)Continuous use of anticholinergic medications (e.g., Atropine) for >= 48 hours. (4)Severe cardiopulmonary insufficiency. (5)Uncorrectable coagulation disorders. (6)Uncorrectable coagulation disorders. (7)Diagnosis of terminal malignancy with a life expectancy of < 6 months. (8)Presence of neurological diseases affecting the judgment of autonomic nerve function (e.g., dementia, advanced Parkinson's disease, severe stroke, etc). (9)Refusal to sign the informed consent form.
