65 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age =>65 years. 2. Planned elective laparoscopic partial hepatectomy under general anesthesia (including segmental resection, combined segmental resection, hemihepatectomy, etc.). 3. Expected duration of pneumoperitoneum >=2 hours. 4. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification I-III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Suffering from severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), with a severity of GOLD grade 3 or higher. 2. Severe heart failure classified as NYHA class III or above. 3. Previous history of thoracic or abdominal surgery, which is expected to cause significant thoracic adhesions or known diaphragmatic dysfunction. 4. Liver function classified as Child-Pugh class C, or an estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) < 30 mL/min/1.73m². 5. Presence of cognitive impairment, mental illness, or language communication barriers, making it impossible to cooperate with postoperative follow-up assessments.
