Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Adults aged 60 years or older who are long-term residents of the participating communities; 2.Able to communicate effectively and complete questionnaires and telephone follow-up; 3.Self-reported room for improvement in salt intake; 4.Provided written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Severe cognitive impairment or psychiatric illness that precludes understanding of the study or providing reliable responses; 2.Severe conditions requiring strict salt restriction or specialized dietary therapy (e.g., end-stage renal disease, severe heart failure, or other medically indicated strict salt-restriction conditions); 3.Current participation in other diet-, nutrition-, or lifestyle-related intervention studies.
