Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age between 18 and 25 years; 2. Characteristics of relatively high risk of ectasia: a) Moderate to high myopia (MRSE = 280 µm and 1.4; ii. Or posterior corneal elevation > 12 µm and 47.0 D; iv. Or Pentacam BAD-D value > 1.6 SD; v. Or corneal biomechanical indices CBI > 0.5 or TBI > 0.29; 3. Corrected distance visual acuity (CDVA, logMAR) equal to or better than 0.097 (equivalent to 16/20); 4. Stable refraction over the past year (change < 0.50 D);
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of keratoconus in the operative or fellow eye; 2. Uncontrolled ocular diseases, including but not limited to active ocular inflammation, adnexal disorders, glaucoma, or cataract; 3. Uncontrolled systemic diseases, including but not limited to connective tissue disorders and autoimmune diseases; 4. Presence of psychiatric symptoms such as anxiety or depression; 5. Pregnancy or lactation.
