Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Initially diagnosed acute pancreatitis; (2) Adult patients (age >=18 years old); (3) Admitted to Zhongshan Hospital for treatment of acute pancreatitis; (4) Baseline triglyceride and blood glucose levels at admission are available; (5) At least one blood gas analysis result during hospitalization is available.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Not Initially diagnosed acute pancreatitis; (2) Under 18 years old; (3) Not hospitalized at Zhongshan Hospital for the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatitis; (4) Baseline triglyceride and blood glucose levels at admission were unavailable; (5) No blood gas analysis was performed throughout hospitalization, or the oxygenation index could not be calculated based on the blood gas results.
