Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Chinese pregnant women with singleton pregnancy; 2. Age range from 18 to 45 years old; 3. After 28 weeks of gestation, ultrasonography diagnosed the placenta position as lower than the presenting part of the fetus, attached to the lower uterine segment, with the lower edge reaching or covering the internal os of the cervix; 4. Pregnant women scheduled for cesarean section due to social factors, relative cephalopelvic disproportion, macrosomia, scarred uterus, or other similar reasons.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Gastrointestinal diseases or family history; 2. Vaginitis during pregnancy; 3. Oral diseases such as periodontitis during pregnancy; 4. Antibiotic usage during pregnancy; 5. Regular consumption of probiotics, yogurt, cheese, or other foods high in probiotics during pregnancy; 6. Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, Hyperthyroidism, Hypothyroidism, Autoimmune Disease, or Other Endocrine and Metabolic Disease; 7. Transfusion History, Organ Transplantation History or Immunotherapy History; 8. Endocrine or metabolic diseases such as hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy, gestational diabetes, and thyroid dysfunction during this pregnancy.
