Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >= 18 years old; 2.Diagnosed with moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) according to the diagnostic criteria of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) in 2020, which means that in polysomnography (PSG) or home sleep monitoring that meets AASM standards, the apnea hypopnea index (AHI) is >=15 times/hour, and the proportion of obstructive events is>50%; 3.The subjects themselves or their legal representatives have fully understood the research purpose and content, and voluntarily signed the informed consent form;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients who have received OSAS related medication or surgical treatment; 2.History of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases that significantly interfere with outcome determination, including but not limited to the following scenarios: stroke history within the past 12 months, severe cardiac structural or rhythmic abnormalities such as atrial fibrillation and dilated cardiomyopathy; 3.Neurodegenerative diseases with clear diagnosis (such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease); 4.There are significant organ dysfunction such as heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys, such as the discovery of pulmonary bullae on chest X-rays or CT scans; Patients with pneumothorax, mediastinal emphysema, or acute myocardial infarction who have unstable hemodynamic parameters; 5.Patients with mental illnesses such as intellectual disabilities, schizophrenia, etc. that affect cognition; 6.Patients with contraindications to magnetic resonance imaging or claustrophobia who are unable to cooperate in completing MRI; 7.Patients with serious underlying diseases such as malignant tumors, hematological disorders, etc. who cannot complete follow-up;
