Interventions

Control group:The standard postural care protocol, carried out by the study interventionists, included the following: 1. Use of a prone positioning pillow made for post-vitrectomy recovery
2. Providing postoperative home care education on proper positioning and preventing complications
3. Offering follow-up assistance through a WeChat-based nursing service.
Intervention Group (Multi-sensory compensation Training group):Based on routine positional care, the research interventionists implemented a multisensory positional management protocol for vitrectomy

18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. It meets the international diagnostic criteria for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment, epiretinal membrane and macular hole. 2. Age >=18 years old and =7 days. 5. No impairment of smell, hearing or touch; 6. No physical movement disorders.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Allergic to the components of the Chinese herbal sachet or experiencing discomfort upon smelling it; 2. Accompanied by other ocular diseases such as glaucoma or cataract; 3. Old retinal detachment; 4. Presence of psychiatric or cognitive impairment; 5. Suffering from severe cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease preventing compliance with prone positioning; 6. Illiterate and lacking access to smart mobile devices; 7. Currently participating in another interventional study.
