Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Voluntary provision of informed consent. 2.Frail elderly patients aged >70 years. 3.No restriction on gender. 4.American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification II-IV. 5.Scheduled to undergo arterial catheterization under general anesthesia.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Abnormal Allen's test. 2.History of radial artery cannulation within the past 30 days; 3.Skin ulceration or hematoma at the intended puncture site. 4.Forearm arterial abnormalities detected by ultrasound. 5.Patients requiring surgery on the radial aspect of the forearm. 6.Presence of shock. 7.Emergency surgery. 8.Coagulation disorders or patients undergoing anticoagulant therapy.
