Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing lobectomy under general anesthesia with double-lumen endotracheal intubation; 2. Aged 18–70 years, with no restriction on sex; 3. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification I–III; 4. No severe cardiopulmonary, hepatic, or renal dysfunction; 5. No significant anatomical abnormalities of the oral cavity, nasal cavity, or larynx; 6. No communication or language barriers; 7. Voluntary participation in this study with written informed consent provided.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. A history of acute or chronic pharyngitis prior to surgery; 2. A bleeding tendency or current use of anticoagulant medications; 3. A history of facial paralysis; 4. Poor compliance or inability to cooperate with the investigators; 5. Development of severe postoperative complications, or postoperative respiratory distress requiring transfer to the intensive care unit with endotracheal intubation.
