Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants The participants in this study include: (1) Children with cerebral palsy (CP) diagnosed by clinicians in accordance with the China Cerebral Palsy Rehabilitation Guidelines (2022); (2) Children meeting the diagnostic criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5) of the American Psychiatric Association; and (3) Typically developing (TD) children. For children meeting the inclusion criteria, informed consent will be obtained from their guardians, and an informed consent form will be signed. 1. Inclusion Criteria for Children with Cerebral Palsy: (1) Age 4–16 years; (2) Meet the diagnostic criteria for cerebral palsy; (3) No absolute or relative contraindications for MRI examination (including: presence of a cardiac pacemaker or other metal implants, cochlear implants or intracranial implants, allergy to contrast agents, claustrophobia, or concurrent acute phase of other diseases with unstable condition, etc.); (4) No history of prior brain trauma or surgery; (5) Understand and sign the informed consent form. 2. Inclusion Criteria for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder: (1) Age 4–16 years; (2) Meet the diagnostic criteria for ASD in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5), and concurrently meet the diagnostic criteria of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and the Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS); (3) Have not received behavioral therapy or taken medication affecting the central nervous system in the past 6 months; (4) No history of prior brain trauma or surgery. 3. Inclusion Criteria for Typically Developing Children: (1) Age 4–16 years; (2) Understand and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclusion Criteria for Children with Cerebral Palsy: (1) Unable to cooperate with the MRI examination due to severe cognitive impairment or other reasons; (2) History of traumatic brain injury or cranial surgery; (3) Severe hearing or visual impairment; (4) Presence of contraindications for MRI examination. 2. Exclusion Criteria for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder: (1) Comorbidity with other neurological or psychiatric disorders, or genetic metabolic diseases; (2) Severe hearing or visual impairment; (3) Presence of contraindications for MRI examination; (4) Unable to cooperate with the examination or assessment due to severe cognitive impairment or other reasons. 3. Exclusion Criteria for Typically Developing Children: (1) Presence of contraindications for MRI examination; (2) Unable to cooperate with the examination or assessment.
