Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years; 2. Receiving oral endotracheal intubation treatment in the ICU; 3. Expected mechanical ventilation duration >= 5 days; 4. Patient or their family has been informed and has signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of severe oral deformities, oral tumors, or a history of serious oral diseases; 2. Existing definite infection; 3. Patients with acute infection, ulcers, or bleeding of the oral mucosa; 4. Patients without teeth; 5. Patients with unstable mental state or mental illness; 6. Patients who have participated in other interventional clinical studies.
