Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. diagnosed with type A dissection based on CTA; 2. syncope before surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients had undergone prior thoracic aortic replacement or TEVAR. 2. Conservative treatment or giving up treatment; 3. The patient has ischemic manifestations in other important organs except the brain.
