Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 8-70 years old, able to understand semantics normally, regardless of gender; 2. Patients with drug-refractory epilepsy confirmed by multidisciplinary consultation and planned to undergo SEEG electrode implantation; 3. The electrode implantation sites include prefrontal lobe, temporal lobe, cingulate gyrus, hippocampus, insula and other areas related to cognitive function; 4. The patient himself/herself or the legal guardian signs the informed consent form and voluntarily participates in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects with severe cognitive impairment, mental illness, or communication barriers that prevent them from completing tasks; 2. Subjects with other severe neurological diseases (such as brain tumors, cerebral infarction, etc.); 3. Subjects who experience epileptic seizures due to performing the decision-making tasks in this study. 4. Subjects who experience severe complications during electrode implantation that affect data collection or electrode positioning; 5. Subjects with other medical or ethical factors deemed inappropriate for participation in this study by the researchers. 6. Subjects who are unconscious after surgery and lack the cognitive ability to complete behavioral tasks.
