18 Years to 70 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-70 years old; 2. Diagnosed with stage III or IV periodontitis; 3. Remaining teeth >= 15.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who smoke; 2. Patients who abuse alcohol; 3. Patients with other known systemic diseases that can affect the progression of periodontitis (such as diabetes, hypertension, heart dysfunction, immune disorders, osteoporosis, history of head and neck radiotherapy, etc.); 4. Patients who have undergone periodontal treatment within the past 3 months; 5. Patients who have taken antibiotics, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, immunosuppressants, hormones, or other medications affecting the periodontium within the past month; 6. Patients who have taken probiotics within the past 3 months; 7. Patients who have taken spirulina within the past 3 months; 8. Patients requiring prophylactic use of antibiotics; 9. Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
