Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age (age) >18 years old; (2) At the first time of interventional therapy (i.e., the first diagnosis of ASO), severe stenosis or occlusion (primary or secondary) >70% between superficial femoral artery and popliteal artery; (3) Ankle brachial index (ABI) of affected limb 10 cm.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Acute thrombosis requiring thrombolysis or thrombectomy, or thrombolytic therapy or lower extremity arterial surgery within 42 days; (2) More than one vessel needs to be intervened; (3) Allergic to drugs that may be used in the treatment such as aspirin, clopidogrel, heparin, paclitaxel, etc.; (4) The guidewire catheter could not pass through the lesion site and balloon dilatation could not be performed. (5) Considering in-stent restenosis; (6) Bleeding tendency and poor coagulation function; (7) Pregnancy and lactation; (8) The presence of malignant tumors, severe liver and kidney insufficiency, severe heart failure, heart disease and other diseases.
