Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Diagnosed with age-related cataract and scheduled to undergo cataract surgery; 2.No other ocular diseases that may affect postoperative recovery from cataract surgery; 3.The patient themselves or their cohabiting children are accustomed to using WeChat (a social media platform owned by Tencent Holdings Ltd.) for daily communication.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with other ocular diseases requiring regular ophthalmic follow-up, such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy beyond the severe non-proliferative stage, and patients who have not completed anti-VEGF treatment regularly; 2.Patients who explicitly express their intention to withdraw from the study.
