Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Periapical radiographs of permanent teeth; 2.The radiation dose is appropriate. 3.Teeth clinically diagnosed with apical periodontitis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Radiographs of the apical region including deciduous teeth; 2. The image is either too bright or too dark to distinguish the lesion. 3. The teeth in the image are severely deformed. 4. Suffering from severe periodontal disease; 5. The lesion involves the surrounding structures and the boundary of the lesion cannot be distinguished.
