Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >=18 years; 2.Diagnosed with Crohn's disease (CD) or ulcerative colitis (UC) based on clinical presentation, endoscopy, imaging studies and/or histopathological examination in accordance with international consensus guidelines (e.g. ECCO); 3.Conscious and lucid, possessing basic literacy or communication skills sufficient to comprehend the study content and complete questionnaires independently or with assistance; 4.Voluntarily participating in this study and having signed a written informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Concurrent severe conditions significantly impacting nutritional metabolism or digestive absorption (e.g., malignant tumours, severe hepatic or renal impairment [Child-Pugh Class C], chronic heart failure [NYHA Class III-IV], uncontrolled thyroid disorders); 2.Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding; 3.Individuals who have undergone intestinal surgery within the past three months (to avoid interference from significant short-term fluctuations in nutrition and diet post-surgery); 4.Those with severe cognitive or psychiatric disorders rendering them unable to cooperate with the study; 5.Individuals who refuse to sign the informed consent form.
