Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Inclusion criteria of T1DM patients: (1) meeting the diagnostic criteria of type 1 diabetes mellitus (1999 WHO criteria); (2) at least two positive islet autoantibodies (GADA/IA-2A/ZnT8A/IAA/ICA) including stage1 - autoantibodies positive but normal blood glucose; stage2 - stage of abnormal blood glucose but no symptoms; stage3 - Clinical diabetic stage, the appearance of diabetic symptoms; (3) Patients aged from 3 to 80 years old. (4) Patients/guardians signed informed consent and agreed to complete information and sample collection; 2.Inclusion criteria of healthy controls (1) fasting blood glucose level < 5.6mmol/L, 2-hour postprandial glucose < 7.8mmol/L; (2) glycosylated hemoglobin level <=6.0%; (3) no family history of diabetes; (4) negative islet autoantibodies; (5) Gender and age matched with patients with type 1 diabetes; (6) Participants and/or guardians provided written informed consent and agreed to complete the information and sample collection.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) patients with serious chronic diseases such as heart, liver and kidney; (2) patients with other autoimmune diseases or abnormal immune response (such as systemic lupus erythematosus, thrombocytopenic purpura, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.); (3) patients with chronic inapparent infection (such as otitis media, sinusitis, etc.); (4) Hypotension patients: SBP <=90mmHg, DBP <=60mmHg; (5) Anemia patients: Hb < 120g/L in adult males, 110g/L in adult females, and < 100g/L in pregnant women; (6) alcoholism, mental disorders or other unsuitability for observation; (7) patients with any disease that the investigators consider may interfere with participation in the study or evaluation; (8) other medical history that, according to the investigator's judgment, reduced or complicated the likelihood of enrollment, such as frequent changes in work environment and loss to follow-up.
