Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Imaging, cytology, and/or pathological examinations confirm the diagnosis of a distal ureteral tumor. 2. Aged 18 years and above. 3. Tumor confined to the lower third of the ureter. 4. Patients with low-risk upper tract urothelial carcinoma(RNU), or patients with high-risk UTUC who have a strong desire for kidney preservation and are not candidates for radical nephroureterectomy (RNU) (e.g., those with a solitary kidney, bilateral UTUC, or contralateral renal insufficiency).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who cannot tolerate the surgical procedure. 2. Patients with tumor extension beyond the distal ureter, involving the renal pelvis, middle or upper ureter, bladder, or those presenting with distant metastasis. 3. Patients who are lost to follow-up for any reason.
