Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age>= 60 years; 2.Diagnosis of osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture (OVCF) in accordance with the Expert Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fractures (2021 Edition), confirmed by CT, MRI, and dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry as a single-segment thoracolumbar (T10–L2) compression fracture; 3.Fresh fracture within 2 weeks; 4.History of minor trauma, with thoracolumbar pain corresponding to the fracture site; 5.Eligibility for and tolerance of PKP surgery; 6.Bone mineral density (BMD) T-score = 6 months; 9.Signing of the informed consent form, confirming full understanding and agreement to study participation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Previous thoracolumbar surgery; 2.Multilevel, old, or severe vertebral fractures involving spinal cord or nerve root compression requiring pedicle screw fixation; 3.Presence of spinal tumors, tuberculosis, or other infections; 4.Coexisting osteomyelitis, rheumatoid arthritis, hematologic disorders, coagulation abnormalities, or psychiatric disease; 5.Autoimmune, systemic, or malignant diseases; 6.Severe cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic, or renal dysfunction precluding surgery; 7.Allergy to bone cement materials;8.Incomplete posterior or lateral vertebral wall;9.Interrupted follow-up or incomplete follow-up data.
