Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: According to the Chinese Heart Failure Guidelines, patients discharged with a diagnosis of HF who had a complete blood count (CBC) within 24 hours of admission.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Concurrent renal insufficiency (serum creatinine > 265 µmol/L, or chronic kidney disease stage 4 or 5); concurrent severe hepatic insufficiency [alanine aminotransferase (ALT) exceeding 3 times the upper limit of normal (ULN) or higher]; history of malignancy and related radiotherapy/chemotherapy within the past year; hyperthyroidism; Patients with concomitant infections, hematologic disorders, or connective tissue diseases affecting CBC results; Patients requiring recent blood transfusion or invasive mechanical ventilation; Patients who have not undergone CBC testing within the past 24 hours.
