Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The enrolled trainees are ophthalmologists with similar years of clinical experience, possessing comparable foundational microsurgical skills. They are proficient in operating the microscope, identifying and utilizing cataract surgical instruments, and performing tasks such as grasping, suturing, and cutting sutures under the microscope. None of them have previously undergone systematic training in phacoemulsification cataract extraction.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Unable to complete the entire teaching and training plan as scheduled, unable to participate in post-training assessments, or having previously undergone training in phacoemulsification cataract extraction.
