Inspiratory muscle training group:The training protocol consisted of performing 12-week of IMT three times per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings between 9:50 and 10:20 a.m. recess), 3 sets
sham group:The sham control group maintained a maximum inspiratory pressure intensity of 15 % during the entire experimental period, and the remaining arrangements were the same as the inspiratory mus

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Male students aged 15-17 years in school; (2) Sedentary time >8 hours per day; (3) Physically inactive adolescents (not meeting the recommended standards of the Global Guidelines on Physical Activity for Health Promotion); (4) No history of any disease or clinical symptoms; (5) No background of formal athletic training and no regular exercise habits; (6) No use of supplements, medications, or the presence of undesirable habits that might affect the results of the study (such as smoking, alcohol consumption, etc.); (7) voluntary participation in all test assessments.
