Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age range: 18 - 80 years old; Weight: >= 40 kg and <=100 kg; 2.Patients admitted to the emergency ward or EICU of Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University from September 2024 to March 2026, who met the diagnostic criteria for sepsis (according to the "Emergency Treatment Guidelines for Sepsis/Sepsis-Associated Shock in China 2018").

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnant women, lactating women and patients with mental disorders 2.Those who have had heart diseases that affect myocardial contraction/dilation function in the past, such as myocardial infarction, congenital heart disease, cardiomyopathy, valvular disease, post-cardiothoracic surgery, post-cardiopulmonary resuscitation or electrical cardioversion; 3. Severe primary diseases that affect survival (such as terminal stage of tumors, hematological diseases, long-term bedridden due to cerebrovascular diseases, severe Alzheimer's disease, long-term hemodialysis due to renal insufficiency, severe liver injury at Child-Pugh C grade, etc.); 4. Expected survival period < 24 hours.
