Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years 2. Patients receiving ECMO support for more than 24 hours

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with infection occurring before ECMO initiation or within 24 hours of starting ECMO 2. Patients with infection occurring more than 48 hours after ECMO decannulation 3. Inflammatory responses induced by trauma or non-biological factors

Hospital-acquired infection data: time of infection onset, infection site, pathogen, hand hygiene, environmental management;Disease-related data: biochemical indicators (creatinine, white blood cell count, lactate, C-reactive protein, hemoglobin), complications, ECMO cannulation mode, ECMO duration, sedative use duration, steroid use, blood transfusion;Patient demographics: hospital ID, age, gender, length of hospital stay, BMI, smoking/alcohol use, past medical history;
