Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 18–45 years, without systemic diseases affecting oral surgery, and with no contraindications for tooth extraction; 2. No severe periodontal disease, or periodontal disease that is effectively controlled; 3. The affected tooth cannot be preserved, with bone defects or chronic inflammation at the extraction site, and implant restoration is planned after extraction; 4. At least one adjacent tooth is present; 5. The extraction socket has bone defects involving three or more walls; 6. The remaining alveolar bone wall height in the extraction socket is >3 mm; 7. Able to understand and sign the relevant informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Suffering from serious systemic diseases; 2. The affected tooth is in an acute inflammatory phase; 3. History of head and neck radiotherapy within the past 5 years; 4. Patients using bisphosphonate drugs; 5. Pregnant and breastfeeding women, patients with mental disorders who cannot cooperate, or those with poor adherence to medical advice.
