Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Met the diagnostic criteria for lumbar disc herniation as defined by the International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision (ICD-10). 2. Herniation was present at a single lumbar disc level, possibly accompanied by bulging of adjacent disc(s). The herniated disc material was non-massive, non-ossified, or non-calcified, with all cases confirmed by CT or MRI examination. 3. Two or three of the following physical signs were positive: the straight leg raise test, the chest-abdominal pillow test, and the anterior tibial nerve compression sign. 4. No gender restriction, aged between 20-65; 5. Both I and my family members have given informed consent and are capable of adhering well to the trial protocol.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with lumbar spinal stenosis, spinal deformity, or ankylosing spondylitis. 2. Patients with concurrent lumbar spondylolisthesis, lumbar fracture, osteoporosis, spinal tuberculosis, or bone tumors. 3. Patients with inflammatory changes of the intervertebral disc. 4. Patients with a history of lumbar surgery; 5. Accompanied by lower extremity muscle weakness and neurogenic claudication; 6. Patients with severe cardiovascular, hepatic, renal, or hematopoietic diseases; patients with psychiatric disorders; and pregnant or lactating women. 7. Patients with cognitive impairment precluding their ability to cooperate with rehabilitation therapy or complete assessments. 8. Patients with poor compliance/adherence, preventing completion of the prescribed treatment plan.
