Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age between 6 to 18 years old 2.After cycloplegia optometry binocular SE <= -0.50D 3.Diagnosis of primary intermittent exotropia and elective admission for strabismus correction surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with paralytic or constant exotropia, a history of strabismus surgery, or any non-concomitant strabismus, such as A-pattern or V-pattern strabismus. 2. Individuals with astigmatism equal to or more than 1.50D in either eye. 3. Individuals with anisometropia, defined as a spherical or cylindrical difference between the eyes equal to or more than 2.00D. 4. Individuals with amblyopia or a history of amblyopia treatment. 5. Individuals with other ocular diseases or systemic diseases affecting the eyes. 6. Individuals unable to cooperate or with poor comprehension.
