Experimental group:For pediatric patients undergoing surgery, routine anesthesia was administered. During the cessation of pneumoperitoneum, hydromorphone was used as the initial dose for analgesia at
conversely, if successful, the next patients dose was decreased by 0.5 µg/kg

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age: 1–6 years old; 2. ASA classification I or II; 3. BMI <= 30 kg/m^2; 4. Pediatric patients scheduled for elective laparoscopic hernia repair under general anesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Allergic to the medications used in this study; 2. Recently had an upper respiratory tract infection; 3. Used sedatives or analgesics within 24 hours before surgery; 4. History of neurological, psychiatric, or cardiopulmonary diseases.
