Interventions

Intervention Group:Health management is conducted using a WeChat mini-program that promotes active health behaviors among obese children and their families.
Control Group:Regular health education involves providing health guidance on diet, exercise, and other aspects, as well as distributing printed health education materials.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children in grades 4 to 6 whose BMI meets the diagnostic criteria for overweight and obesity in Chinese children and adolescents, along with their families; 2. Both parents and children possess the ability to read, write, and comprehend, can effectively use the WeChat mini-program, and can independently complete the questionnaire; 3. Both parents and children voluntarily participate after providing informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with pathological obesity or accompanied by serious physical and mental dysfunction; 2. Those participating in other rehabilitation research programs.
