Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Adults aged 18 years and older; 2.Complete blood lipid and other related laboratory examination data; 3. Imaging examination: regular liver imaging (such as ultrasound) and fatty liver (control group) or metabolic fatty liver (MAFLD group) could be confirmed according to the examination results;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with a history of major acute diseases (such as acute renal failure, acute hepatitis, etc.) or severe chronic diseases (such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, malignancies) in the recent past; 2.Individuals who have used medications affecting lipid levels and liver metabolism (such as lipid-lowering drugs, diabetes medications, corticosteroids, etc.) within 3 months prior to the start of the study; 3.Individuals who have exceeded the alcohol consumption limits defined by international standards for alcoholism in the past year; 4.Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 5.Individuals confirmed to have other types of liver disease (such as viral hepatitis, autoimmune liver disease, drug-induced liver disease, etc.) or liver lesions;
