Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for the comorbidity group: 1. Meeting both the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia in the *International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision* (ICD-10) and the criteria for chronic pain from the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP); 2. Aged 18-65 years; 3. Currently in a relatively stable condition (no changes in the type or dosage of medications in the past month, or a change in the total PANSS score < 20%); 4. Able to understand and cooperate with completing scale assessments; 5. Voluntarily participating and signing the informed consent form. Inclusion criteria for the non-comorbidity group: 1. Meeting the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia in the *International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision* (ICD-10) but not meeting the criteria for chronic pain from the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP); 2. Aged 18-65 years; 3. Currently in a relatively stable condition (no changes in the type or dosage of medications in the past month, or a change in the total PANSS score < 20%); 4. Able to understand and cooperate with completing scale assessments; 5. Voluntarily participating and signing the informed consent form. Inclusion criteria for the control group: 1. No physical diseases confirmed by the physical examination center of our hospital; 2. Aged 18-65 years; 3. Able to understand and cooperate with completing scale assessments; 4. Voluntarily participating and signing the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Three groups of exclusion criteria: 1. Complicated with severe physical diseases; 2. History of psychoactive substance abuse or dependence; 3. Severe cognitive, audio-visual or language impairment; 4. Pregnant or lactating women.
