65 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age >= 65 years; (2) ASA class I–IV; (3) Patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients or their guardians refused to participate in this study; (2) Inability to complete the preoperative assessment; (3) Lower limb amputation, primary motor dysfunction, or confirmed neuromuscular disease; (4) Conditions unsuitable for ultrasound examination, such as skin breakdown, ulceration, local infection, or severe obesity in the thigh; (5) Patients with schizophrenia, severe dementia, or those unable to read, write, or communicate verbally; (6) Patients with an MMSE score below 25; (7) Unwillingness to comply with the study protocol or procedures.
