Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Lateral approach for primary unilateral total hip arthroplasty; 2.Aged 18–80 years, with a height of 150–180 cm and a BMI of 18–35 kg/m^²; 3.American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification grade I to III; 4.Informed consent from patients;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with femoral neck fracture; 2.Unable to cooperate with the completion of the research protocol; 3.Pregnant women, postpartum women and those with positive urine pregnancy test; 4.Preoperative use of analgesics or drugs affecting neurological function; 5.emergency or revision surgery; 6.Patients with ESPB contraindications such as spinal deformity, coagulation disorders, infection at the puncture site, or those with mental illness and other conditions that render them unable to cooperate. 7.Patients who are allergic to local anesthetics or the drugs used during surgery; 8.Unable to understand or use the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) for pain assessment;
