Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with T2DM who meet the WHO 1999 diagnostic criteria; 2. Aged 40–80 years; 3. No adjustments to oral hypoglycemic drugs or insulin in the half month prior to intervention; 4. Those with good communication and language skills; 5. Those who provide informed consent and voluntarily participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. FBG >= 16.7 mmol/L; 2. Those who regularly consume nuts >= 4 bags/week; 3. Those allergic to nuts or having difficulty chewing; 4. Those with other serious diseases or complications (such as malignant tumors, severe liver or kidney dysfunction, etc.); 5. Those with severe mental illness or cognitive impairment; 6. Those receiving antidepressant treatment or using psychiatric medications; 7. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals; 8. Those using GLP-1 receptor agonists or DPP-4 inhibitors; 9. Those who have recently had diarrhea or gastrointestinal diseases; 10. Those with irregular diets or frequent social engagements.
