Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged 18 years or older; 2.Diagnosed with an open fracture of the lower extremity (Gustilo-Anderson classification Type I-III); 3.Underwent initial surgical treatment at our center; 4.Have complete and accessible clinical medical records.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pathological fracture; 2.Pre-existing active infection in the affected limb or severe vascular/neuropathic disease prior to the injury; 3.Follow-up duration of less than 1 month or loss to follow-up; 4.Excessive missing data (>20%) in critical clinical variables.
