Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets the diagnostic criteria of the "Surviving Sepsis Campaign (SSC): International Guidelines for the Management of Sepsis and Septic Shock 2021"; 2. Age >= 18 years; 3. ICU stay >= 48 hours; 4. Family members or patients voluntarily sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant or breastfeeding women; 2. Patients with severe chronic kidney disease (such as hypertensive nephropathy, diabetic nephropathy, chronic nephritis, etc.); 3. Post-kidney transplant patients; 4. Patients with malignant tumors (including any type, origin, or stage of malignant tumor); 5. Patients with hematologic diseases, immune system disorders, or immunodeficiency; 6. Patients with AKI not caused by sepsis (such as urinary obstruction, major surgery, severe trauma, nephrotoxic drugs, contrast exposure, etc.); 7. Patients who received hyaluronic acid treatment within 24 hours prior to enrollment (such as intra-articular injection); 8. Patients who already had AKI at the time of enrollment; 9. Patients who refuse to participate in the study.
