Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age>= 18 years; 2. Meeting the diagnostic criteria for knee osteoarthritis (KOA) [20]: Recurrent knee pain within the past month; Age >= 50 years; Morning stiffness lasting = 30 minutes; Presence of crepitus during joint movement; Radiographic findings on standing or weight-bearing X-ray showing joint space narrowing, subchondral bone sclerosis or cystic changes, and marginal osteophyte formation. A diagnosis of KOA can be made when criterion plus any two of the remaining criteria are met; 3. Kellgren–Lawrence (K–L) grade II–IV; 4. Good communication ability; 5. Voluntary participation in the study with informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with other severe diseases, such as cardiac, hepatic, pulmonary, or renal dysfunction, and malignancies; 2. Patients who have undergone total knee arthroplasty (TKA); 3. Patients with mental disorders who are unable to cooperate.
