Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Children and adolescents aged 6–11 years; (2) Children with ADHD must have received a clinical diagnosis of ADHD; (3) Children without regular exercise habits must have had no consistent exercise routine ( =3 sessions of moderate-to-vigorous intensity training per week, each session >=60 minutes) (4) Right-handed, with normal or corrected normal vision; (5) Chinese version of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children: IQ >= 80; (6) Voluntary participation, with informed consent signed by the subject's parent or legal guardian.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Individuals with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) who also have other developmental behavioural disorders or psychiatric conditions (such as autism spectrum disorder, bipolar disorder, etc.); (2) Individuals with ophthalmic conditions, such as colour blindness or colour weakness; or severe astigmatism; (3) Individuals with serious medical conditions unsuitable for exercise (such as heart disease, asthma, etc.); (4) Self-reported history of migraine or use of central nervous system-affecting medications at any time within the three months preceding the test; (5) History of ocular surgery or severe sports injury within the preceding six months; (6) Participants whose medication regimen may require adjustment during the intervention period.
