Interventions

Intervention group:Perilla oil Capsules: Take 2 times a day, 3 capsules each time, 0.5g per capsule, that is, 3g capsules per day, containing ALA 3*0.68= 2.04g. The intervention period is three months
Control group:Corn oil capsules: Take 2 times a day, 3 capsules each time, 0.5g per capsule. The intervention period is 3 months.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male or female aged 18~75 years old; 2. Patients with confirmed carotid atherosclerosis (carotid artery color ultrasound finds any abnormality in any of the carotid arteries, and carotid atherosclerosis is considered to be present, including C-IMT thickening, carotid plaque, carotid artery stenosis, etc.); 3. Voluntarily participate in this trial and sign a written informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnant women, lactating mothers, and those with severe complications; Those aged less than 18 or more than 75; 2. There are severe heart failure, pulmonary insufficiency, renal failure, cerebrovascular diseases, severe diabetes complications, severe hypertension complications, blood diseases, malignant tumors, and autoimmune diseases; 3. Diagnosed with concurrent alcoholic fatty liver disease, acute or chronic hepatitis, drug-induced liver injury, liver cirrhosis and other liver diseases; 4. Patients diagnosed with gallbladder stones, cholecystitis, gallbladder cancer and other biliary tract diseases, as well as those with a history of cholecystectomy; 5. Patients who have experienced infection, surgery, stress or major trauma in the past three months; 6. Have a history of allergies or have been taking n-3 PUFA nutritional supplements for a long time (in the past half year); 7. Change the lipid-lowering drug treatment plan after participating in the project; 8. People with special dietary habits such as vegetarianism or dieting for weight loss.
