Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: TBI patients admitted after injury were included based on the diagnostic criteria outlined in the 2025 "Chinese Expert Consensus on Prehospital and Emergency Management of Adult Traumatic Brain Injury" and the "Chinese Expert Consensus on Brain Monitoring Techniques for Traumatic Brain Injury Patients" issued by the National Health Commission’s Stroke Prevention and Treatment Engineering Committee.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Hematologic disorders or coagulation dysfunction; 2. Presence of intracranial aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), other intracranial vascular malformations, Moyamoya disease, intracranial tumors, pseudoaneurysms, or stroke; 3. Patients with a confirmed diagnosis of cognitive impairment; 4. Pre-existing conditions prior to the current admission that may affect cognitive function, such as Alzheimer’s disease, multiple cerebral infarctions, small vessel disease, brain tumors, endocrine disorders, depression, or obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome; 5. Use of medications that may affect cognitive assessment, such as cholinesterase inhibitors; 6. Pregnancy; 7. Under 18 years of age.
