Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Elderly patients undergoing surgical treatment; (2) Able to complete the Fried Frailty Assessment Tool; (3) Be capable of completing the CAM cognitive function assessment tool; (4) Family members and patients consent to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) The patient or the patient's family refused to participate in this study; (2) Complicated with organic brain diseases, such as brain trauma, intracranial hematoma, or congenital brain developmental abnormalities; (3) Those with preoperative delirium or cognitive dysfunction; (4) Patients with dementia or known mental disorders; (5) Patients with aphasia or hearing impairment; (6) Patients who did not sign the informed consent form or were lost to follow-up.
