Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age of care recipient: 12–18 years; Meets ICD-10 diagnosis: depressive disorder, or unspecified conduct/emotional disorder with onset in childhood or adolescence; Caregiver is an immediate family member or primary carer; Informed consent obtained and consent form signed.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Illiterate individuals unable to comprehend health education content; those with severe concomitant physical illnesses unable to participate in education; and those with cognitive impairments unable to cooperate.
