Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Inclusion Criteria for UC Patients: (1) Age should be >18 years and 18 years and <75 years; (2) Healthy individuals who undergo physical examination or visit the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from October 2025 to October 2027.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclusion criteria for UC patients: (1) Pregnancy or planning to conceive in the near future; (2) Patients in remission (Mayo score 1); (3) Development of diseases during the study that differ from or could be confused with the initial diagnosis; (4) Complicated by toxic megacolon, perianal disease, or history of intestinal surgery; (5) Complicated by other severe heart, lung, kidney diseases, or tumors; (6) Patients with severe infections. 2. Exclusion criteria for healthy individuals: (1) Pregnancy or planning to conceive in the near future; (2) Known acute or chronic diseases; (3) History of surgery, blood transfusion, or trauma within the past 6 months.
