Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 60 years; 2.Diagnosis of diabetes mellitus according to the World Health Organization (WHO) diagnostic criteria; 3.Multimorbidity with diabetes: in addition to diabetes, the patient has at least one other common chronic non-communicable disease, as defined by the International Classification of Diseases, 11th Revision (ICD-11); 4.The patient has provided informed consent to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with acute or severe medical conditions that prevent them from completing the survey; 2. Patients who are concurrently enrolled in other clinical studies related to illness coherence (IC) and self-management behaviors.
