Executive function and physical fitness

Interventions

Regular physical training group:Participate in a structured physical education program, once a week for 90 minutes each time, for 12 weeks.
Control group:No involvement in any sports intervention

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. aged between 18 and 23 years; 2. in good physical health with no history of serious diseases (e.g., cardiovascular disease, diabetes); 3. free from cognitive impairment or severe mental health issues (e.g., depression, anxiety); 4. had no severe contraindications to exercise or sports injuries; 5. voluntarily consented to participate and agreed to comply with research regulations.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. had severe clinical diseases or chronic conditions affecting exercise capacity; 2. had recently participated in other sports intervention studies; 3. were unable to complete the exercise tasks or executive function tests required by the experiment.
