Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >= 65 years. 2.Patients scheduled to undergo unilateral total hip or knee arthroplasty under general or spinal anesthesia. 3.ASA class II–III. 4.Sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.With a history of psychiatric disorders (e.g., depression, schizophrenia). 2.With a history of neurological disorders (e.g., epilepsy, Parkinson's disease). 3.With a history of central nervous system disorders (e.g., stroke, traumatic brain injury, brain tumor). 4.Patients identified as having cognitive impairment based on MMSE cutoff scores specific to their educational level. 5.Use of medications affecting sleep (such as hypnotics or melatonin) or other sleep disorders within the past 3 months. 6.Diagnosed OSAS or high risk for OSAS (STOP-Bang score = 3). 7.Sick sinus syndrome, significant sinus bradycardia (heart rate 2 times the upper limit of normal; or Ccr 443 µmol/L. 10.Patients with significant impairment in vision, hearing, or literacy. 11.Participation in other interventional clinical trials within the past 3 months.
