Conditions

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Interventions

dosage adjusted according to blood glucose levels
Control group:Standard therapy with metformin (Glucophage) 0.5 g, orally, one tablet twice daily
TCM group:Shiliang Cha decoction (, prepared by the pharmacy of our hospital), two sachets daily (one in the morning and one in the evening), added to the control group's metformin therapy

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who meet the diagnostic criteria for NAFLD combined with T2DM; 2. Aged between 18 and 70 years; 3. Good compliance and have signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with combined liver cirrhosis or liver cancer; 2. Patients with other liver diseases such as viral hepatitis, autoimmune liver disease, or alcoholic fatty liver; 3. Patients with other serious diseases (such as malignant tumors, severe heart disease); 4. Patients who cannot cooperate to complete the study; 5. Patients with type 1 diabetes; 6. Pregnant women, women planning pregnancy, or women who are breastfeeding; 7. Patients who have participated in other drug clinical trials within the past month or are currently participating in other drug clinical trials.
